Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join a multi‑disciplinary team in Loughborough. This permanent Band 6/7 role focuses on advanced dysphagia management and complex neuro-rehabilitation.

You will assess and treat service users in inpatient and community settings, lead in your area of expertise, supervise learners and junior staff, and contribute to audits, service evaluations and research.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC/RCSLT registration.
• Completion of RCSLT Level C / EDS Level 5 Specialist Dysphagia Practitioner Competencies.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and specialist training.
• Proven ability to independently manage a complex caseload using evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in leading training and supporting staff development.
• Flexible and resilient approach to practice.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities
