A community healthcare service in North Hertfordshire is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will work within an integrated team to deliver interventions aimed at supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs. Responsibilities include collaboration with education professionals, managing a diverse caseload, and ensuring positive outcomes for children. An SLT degree and HCPC registration are essential.
Position overview: Band 6 SLT within Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust’s integrated Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Services for families across the county. The service is jointly commissioned by health and education, enabling a seamless pathway from early years through to schools, specialist provisions and further education settings. We deliver interventions at Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels and work in partnership with education and stakeholders to support children and young people (CYP).

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,935 and a maximum payment of £2,198 per annum pro rata (pro rata where applicable and dependent on base location).
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
