We are excited to offer a new opportunity within our expanding team for aSpecialist School Nurse. This role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated professional who is committed to supporting children and young people (CYP) with complex needs and learning disabilities.
As part of our friendly and skilled community-based team, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to CYP across East Berkshire. Based primarily atKennel Lane School in Bracknell, you will play a key role in providing a seamless and compassionate service to children, young people and their families.
This is a part time position with the ability to offer flexible working between the core hours of 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the jobLead the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the Community Children's Nursing (CCN) Team.
Deliver training, mentoring and care planning for staff nurses, nursery nurses, support workers and school staff using competency-based training packages.
Develop and maintain individualised care plans for pupils.
Work closely with safeguarding and children-in-care teams, contributing to reports and attending relevant meetings.
