A leading hospital in Chester seeks a Specialist Practitioner for Safeguarding Adults. This full-time role involves working within a team to ensure high safeguarding standards and provide expert guidance. Ideal candidates will have excellent clinical skills and a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices, contributing to quality patient care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated specialist practitioner for safeguarding adults with a vision to develop and maintain high standards of safeguarding practice across the organisation. The role requires the individual to have an in-depth knowledge of the Safeguarding Adult agenda with experience of working within a complex health or social care organisation.
The postholder must demonstrate excellent clinical skills, be caring and compassionate, and focused on providing excellent quality patient care, working within the values held by the Trust.
The role involves working closely with the Named Professional for Adult Safeguarding and other professionals in the Safeguarding and Complex Care team. It involves multi-agency collaboration with partner agencies such as the local authority; experience of partner working would be advantageous.
You will be required to provide safeguarding and MCA/DoLs advice, as well as adhoc safeguarding supervision to staff, support in the preparation of written reports related to formal adult protection procedures and legal proceedings, attend safeguarding adult meetings, represent the Trust, and deputise for the Named Professional as directed.
The Specialist Practitioner for Safeguarding Adults is available to provide expert advice and guidance to all Trust staff and promote best practice. The post holder will foster an environment of continuous quality improvement and professional development to enable staff to care effectively for patients with safeguarding needs.
