Summary:

As a specialist rotational clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role within our multidisciplinary team, contributing to Consultant-led ward rounds to inform and influence prescribing decisions. This dynamic role encompasses various clinical areas, including our Emergency Department, Acute Assessment Unit, General Medicine, Stroke, Care of Older People, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Mental Health, Oncology, Haematology, and Hospice care.

Responsibilities and Opportunities:

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Attend Consultant-led ward rounds to provide expert input on medication management.

Develop specialist skills across a range of clinical areas, supported by comprehensive foundation training.

Prepare for advanced-level practice through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Receive training to enhance leadership and management skills, fostering growth within the role.

Benefit from numerous training opportunities with paid study leave available to support ongoing learning and development.

Participate in on-call pharmacist duties, which are conducted from home and carefully managed by the Trust Clinical Site Management Team.

Access to a Trust-provided laptop for remote work, facilitating the dispensing of urgent medication through the robotic system.
