Job description

This post is a yearly rotational position across two hospital sites: St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. You will join a large, well-established dietetic department as part of the Cardiac & Critical Care rotation. The rotation is likely to last for 6 months before moving to a different specialty due to a vacancy arising mid-rotation.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Working with an integrated team of therapists
  2. Supervising, educating, and assessing dietetic students
  3. Undertaking evidence-based audits and research projects, and making recommendations for practice improvements to the clinical lead or service manager
  4. Providing a flexible and effective dietetic service at Band 6 level to patients at either hospital
  5. Participating in continuing professional development, research, and audit activities to ensure evidence-based practice

Rotations include Cardiology & Critical Care, Neurosciences & Trauma, Renal, Gastroenterology, and Haem-oncology. The initial rotation for this position will be in Critical Care & Cardiology.
