A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist to join their community respiratory service. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and deliver pulmonary rehabilitation interventions. Part-time hours and a salary range of £44,485 to £52,521 per year, pro-rata.
Band 6 Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist
This is a role for a band 5 or 6 with experience who wishes to build on skills in the specialty of Community respiratory service. The post works as part of a MDT to support and deliver patient-centred care aligned with the vision: Investing in our patient community, empowering them to live well.
The community respiratory service offers specialist outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits to assess and treat patients with long-term respiratory conditions, and a venue-based pulmonary rehabilitation program. It is a multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists and an occupational therapist. The service aims to deliver multidisciplinary input for comprehensive management of patients with long-term respiratory conditions.

The Sutton Community respiratory service consists of a multidisciplinary team offering specialist, comprehensive assessment and intervention. We work with adults in the Sutton area of South West London who have chronic respiratory conditions. The post holder will work as part of the MDT, offering structured pulmonary rehabilitation assessments and classes in line with local and national guidelines, and undertake timely audits to benchmark service quality and standards against national targets. They will contribute to home oxygen service assessment and review, and airway clearance therapy for patients under respiratory care.
