Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant for its Specialist Resource Provision in Sevenoaks. You will help shape provision from the ground up, building positive relationships and supporting pupils with additional needs to develop communication, independence and academic skills.

In collaboration with the Specialist Teacher and wider staff, you will foster inclusive participation and monitor progress while upholding safeguarding and inclusion policies in a nurturing

Qualifications

• Support pupils with EHCPs whose primary needs are ASD and/or SLCN.
• Help deliver high-quality learning experiences and interventions.
• Assist in preparation and adaptation of learning resources and environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences and interventions for children with EHCPs (ASD/SLCN).
• Work with the Specialist Teacher and school staff to promote inclusion and access to meaningful opportunities.
• Support pupils with communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, sensory needs and independence skills.
