Specialist Radiographer (Lead for MRI Safety)

Lead role in managing the MRI safety team, supporting complex implant service operations, and ensuring patient safety in MRI procedures at UHP. Responsible for safety investigations, clinical training, audit, and process improvements related to implant safety. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, manages workload, and supervises junior staff to maintain departmental safety and efficiency. Ensures compliance with IR(ME)R 2000 and supports department operations including waiting list management and KPI achievement. Requires proactive approach and professional judgment in clinical practice and safety management.
