A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a skilled CT Radiographer to join their team. We are seeking a passionate and skilled CT Radiographer to become an integral part of our forward-thinking and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who excels in CT scanning, leads by example, and is enthusiastic about mentoring and developing others. The role is primarily based at Withybush General Hospital, but flexibility is essential as the post may involve working across other sites within the Health Board to meet service demands.
Withybush General Hospital is a busy general hospital. The department is well equipped with Canon Aquilion Prism and GE Revolution Evo scanners. We perform the full range of examinations including CT Coronary Angiography. The department has a Siemens 1.5T MRI scanner and performs all examinations. The general department has three Samsung DR rooms; all mobile equipment is digital, and there is a selection of Philips II's and a Canon Ultimax fluoroscopy room to be installed. Role extension is encouraged, and there are Radiographer-led Barium swallows and hysterosalpingograms, plain film, CT and MRI radiographer reporting, and opportunities for postgraduate study including ultrasound training. The department has a busy on-call service, which is staffed on site for General and CT. Participation in on call is mandatory after training and induction is completed.
To be considered, candidates must hold a relevant BSc qualification and HCPC registration, along with demonstrable experience in CT imaging. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
