Job Summary:

This role will lead or support the development, management, and improvement of technology systems and processes related to the quality management system (QMS), including document control, audit management, quality databases, intranet pages, and non-conformance systems. The role involves working closely with the Manager, Quality Systems and Processes to understand requirements, develop or redevelop processes, and implement systems to meet these needs, leading change initiatives as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the Business:

  • Gain a basic understanding of the TIC industry and service delivery processes.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of CSA technology systems and their interactions.
  • Collaborate with Quality Management teams to understand metrics and data related to quality systems.
  • Work with other functions such as Operations and Technical Management to understand metrics demonstrating strong quality risk controls.

Working Well with Others:

  • Ask questions to clarify system and process requirements.
  • Recognize social and cultural norms and adapt communication styles accordingly.
  • Lead project stakeholders effectively, maintaining open communication on deliverables and decisions.
  • Escalate issues when data or results are overdue.
  • Handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Provide system and process training and serve as the first contact for internal inquiries.

Delivering Results:

  • Lead development and enhancement of technology systems related to the QMS.
  • Manage the internal and external audit scheduling process.
  • Coordinate the collection and presentation of QMS data for management reporting.
  • Support global QMS communication and change management activities.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality of communication materials.
  • Develop options and recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Innovate and improve methods for systems and processes to enhance regional and global TIC results.

Concern for Safety:

  • Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe acts immediately.
  • Follow safety procedures and complete all training requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education (2 years) relevant to CSA Group’s core business.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data analytics, systems, and process design/improvement.
  • Experience with management systems, especially ISO standards and conformity assessment standards, is an asset.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills; certification is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in data analytics, presentations, and MS Office 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and project management tools like Smartsheet.
  • Experience with Intelex is beneficial.
