Job summary

Colbern Limited is seeking an experienced Elective Home Education Co-ordinator in Coventry. The role is hybrid, combining home visits (2.5 days per week) with WFH (2.5 days per week). The contract runs for 3–6 months, with Enhanced DBS required and interview conducted face to face.

• Identify requests for school provision or allied support (e.g. health provisions).
• Follow up safeguarding concerns arising from this work.

Key Responsibilities

• To lead on the effective monitoring of Elective Home Education and secure an overview of all cases, through tight recording and reporting procedures
• To further develop current protocols and processes, relating to the Local Authority’s statutory duty to ensure all children and young people are receiving a suitable education, with a specific focus on EHE
• To identify and act upon any requests for school provision or allied support e.g. health provisions
• To robustly follow up any safeguarding concerns arising from this work
