Job summary

Genuit Group plc, including Polypipe Civils and Green Urbanisation, is recruiting Production Operatives in the UK. You will assist in production, assembly and packing, rotating across departments to meet business needs.

The role follows a 2 days (07:00-19:00), 2 nights (19:00-07:00) pattern with 4 days off. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a pension match, life assurance, staff discounts, and on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production adheres to specification sheets.
• Operate equipment safely per instructions and PPE requirements.
• Rotate between departments as needed by business needs.
• Follow production plan and shop orders.
• Monitor production to meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor production issues.
• Notify Line Manager of unresolved issues.
• Assist with setting up future production lines and procedures.
• Record production data in the computer system.
• Ensure correct labeling and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Role Overview Production Operatives assist in the production, assembly and packing of a variety of goods. The Production Operative will form part of a team and have specific duties within an assigned section. Duties may vary from material handling to finished goods onto a production line, including the removal of the product, packing and inspection of all finished products.

You will work a shift pattern consisting of 2 days (07:00-19:00) followed by 2 nights (19:00-07:00) then 4 days off.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure production is in accordance with specification sheets
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including Health and safety and PPE requirements
• Able to rotate between other departments dependant on business and customer requirements
• Follow shop orders as per production plan
• Monitor the goods being made during production ensuring specification is met through quality process excellence
• Fix minor issues that may arise with the production line and trouble‑shoot when production issues occur
• Immediately notify Line Manager when production issues occur that cannot be resolved by you
• Participate in the set‑up of future production lines and procedures
• Input data into computer system to record production and finished goods
• Ensure correct labelling of finished goods
• Ensure that high levels of housekeeping are maintained
