Specialist, Product Management

Overview:

Mastercard's Fraud & Risk Intelligence solutions team in Europe leverages world-class security products and services to lead multi-product commercialization initiatives within the Security Solutions Organization of Mastercard.

The Specialist, Product Management, is responsible for deploying and managing Mastercard Fraud & Risk Intelligence solutions and products in the European Region, focusing on Financial Crime (crypto and AML) solutions. The role involves leading regional development and delivery of innovative products that enable simple and secure payments. Financial Crime is a strategic, high-growth area, with a remit to develop services for card and non-card payment rails (including ACH and instant payments) supporting Mastercard's multi-rail strategy. Key responsibilities include managing and enhancing products, analyzing performance, generating insights, marketing, distributing products, and engaging with stakeholders such as issuers, acquirers, processors, and government entities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop regional go-to-market strategies and lead execution to maximize product penetration and value delivery, including supporting sales with plans, materials, pricing, and training.
  2. Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition to inform strategies.
  3. Coordinate with market teams, sales, finance, legal, marketing, operations, and implementation as the product owner to ensure successful product launches.
  4. Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and financial modeling.
  5. Support Customer Success teams by monitoring and evaluating product performance using relevant data; build reporting tools.
  6. Provide deep domain expertise to guide customers and stakeholders.
  7. Leverage knowledge of Security Solutions and broader Mastercard offerings to maximize customer value.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of Fraud and Financial Crime solutions in account-based payments, with experience in launching and scaling new products.
  2. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex content.
  3. Familiarity with the Greater EUR Region and ability to communicate in local languages is a plus.
  4. Effective problem-solving skills, with risk mitigation and issue escalation capabilities.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
  6. Ability to work independently or in a team.
  7. Bachelor's degree required.
