The Harmony Trust has the highest aspirations for its pupils, parents, and staff members. We work hard to ensure that every child achieves, especially those who are identified as disadvantaged or with Special Educational Needs. Our vision is to provide an excellent primary education that gives our children the very best chance of succeeding in life. Our aim is to ensure that children at our academies enjoy the best education from the early years to the end of the primary stage. We work in partnership with parents to ensure that all our children Believe, Achieve, and Succeed.
Inclusion is at the heart of a Harmony Education, with all pupils attending a GreatPlace2Learn, thriving in an environment where learning is prioritised. We have developed an Inclusion Hub model in our academies that enables children with Special Educational needs to thrive in mainstream settings.
We have a great team of people working in our Academies. We believe in our staff. We aim to retain them by investing in professional development and offering opportunities to work across the Trust, ensuring Harmony is a GreatPlace2Work.
The Board of Trustees wishes to appoint an experienced and successful teacher as Specialist Practitioner. At The Harmony Trust, Specialist Practitioners are teachers primarily deployed to academies to lead provision and demonstrate excellence in the classroom.
Each postholder will also be an active member of The Harmony Trust Development Team. They are expected to be flexible and responsive to Academy and Trust needs. The postholder will initially be based at the Inclusion Hub teacher at Lakeside Primary Academy but may be deployed to other academies within our Derby Academies.
