Specialist Practice Nurse Band 6 required in the Ministry of Defence!! Cyprus

BRILLIANT OPPORTUNITY for a Specialist Practice Nurse to work in the Ministry Of Defence in Cyprus.

Sirona Medical are partnering with the Ministry of Defence to provide agency cover at their sites in Cyprus. We currently require Specialist Practice Nurses for ongoing 42-hour weekly contracts.

Essential Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (A) Level 1 with the NMC, with a valid PIN and no restrictions of practice.
  • Must hold current personal medical indemnity insurance.
  • Minimum one year’s post-registration experience in a Band 5 or higher in a Primary Healthcare setting within the last three years.
  • In-date Basic Life Support, Anaphylaxis, AED, Infection Prevention and Control, and Safeguarding training.
  • Certificates of training/qualification or proof of clinical competency in Immunisation and Vaccination, Venepuncture, from a current employer or Line Manager who is a GMC or NMC Registrant, obtained within the last three years.
About the Role:
  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach.
  • Work within well-equipped medical, dental, or rehabilitation centers as part of the Defence Medical Services team.
  • Deliver professional and personal care services.
  • Work alongside military personnel on Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force bases, providing care for service members and their families.
