North Cumbria Podiatry team are looking to recruit B6 podiatrist.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills, alongside a good sense of humour and team focused.
As a specialist podiatrist you will triage and treat a variety of podiatric problems and provide foot health education to patients and other stakeholders.
Opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in specialist areas are available by our close links with the multi-disciplinary diabetic foot team and North Cumbria MSK service.

Be a specialist practitioner with a high degree of autonomy across a variety of settings.
Prioritise and manage their own workload and when required offer clinical supervision to less experienced podiatrists and podiatry assistants.
Be expected to triage, assess, diagnosis and implement individual treatment plans for a variety of conditions including long term conditions, neurological conditions, vascular problems, wound management/sharp debridement, biomechanical assessment, manufacture of orthoses and nail surgery. The post holder will also be expected to discharge following a set criteria.
Be provided with peer support, continued professional development and regular clinical supervision.
Deliver educational packages to podiatry colleagues and the wider healthcare team.
Uphold and demonstrate North Cumbria Integrated Care trust values in their day-to-day work.
