Job description

Specialist Physiotherapist Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service

You will undertake comprehensive assessments and use your advanced clinical reasoning skills to develop and deliver rehabilitation programmes that support patients in achieving their goals. You will participate actively in our weekly MDT meetings, collaborating with therapists from other disciplines to ensure coordinated communication and goal-setting. Within the multidisciplinary team, you will provide support and training to our Band 5 Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners, and Therapy Assistants in delivering rehabilitation interventions. You will also serve as a supervisor and provide clinical education to student team members.

As a member of the CNRS team, you will demonstrate excellent assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible approach while adhering to guidelines and standards. Joining the Community Neuro Rehab Service (CNRS) in Stockport, you will be part of a supportive, caring, and proactive team dedicated to providing exceptional, holistic, person-centred care to individuals with stroke and neurological conditions within the community.

This vacancy requires an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.90, which will be deducted from your first salary. Additionally, employment is conditional upon joining the DBS update service and paying an annual subscription fee of £16.
