Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Acute Therapies Team. You will work across trauma and elective orthopaedic units, delivering assessment, treatment and discharge planning for a range of orthopaedic conditions, while supporting MDT colleagues.

The post offers opportunities to develop advanced clinical and leadership skills, contribute to service development and quality improvement, and engage in ongoing CPD within a supportive MDT

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
• Significant experience in acute orthopaedics and trauma services.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Experience working effectively within MDTs.
• Passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to support service improvement and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Work across trauma and elective orthopaedic units providing assessment, treatment and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
