A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist (Trauma & Orthopaedics) for a 9-month position at University Hospital Crosshouse. This role involves managing acute orthopaedic conditions and supporting multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will have HCPC registration and experience in an acute setting, alongside excellent communication and leadership skills. Applications are open to UK and overseas candidates.

An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist (Trauma & Othopaedics) based at University Hospital Crosshouse on a fixed-term/secondment basis for 9 months.
As a senior clinician, you will work within a team specializing in the management of acute orthopaedic conditions and surgery, including patient rehabilitation post-surgery or illness. You will be involved in planning and facilitating complex discharges, working closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will provide clinical and professional support to rotational and healthcare support team members, as well as assist the Team Lead Physiotherapist with non-clinical tasks.

Excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills are essential. An interest in service review and quality improvement is desirable. You must be HCPC registered with relevant clinical experience in an acute hospital environment, specifically in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Participation in the evening and weekend Out of Hours on-call rota is required.
37 hours per week
A valid car licence and ownership are essential for this role.
