Applications are invited for a 37 hours (Temporary) Band 6 Specialist Community Physiotherapist based at the Royal Northern Infirmary, Inverness.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Band 5s looking to develop at a senior level or for those already working as a Band 6 seeking to increase their community experience.

This role offers the chance to work within a highly experienced Physiotherapy team with a wealth of skills and knowledge. The Physiotherapy team is part of the larger Integrated Community Team at RNI, collaborating with professionals like OTs, Social Workers, and Community Nurses.
The Community Physiotherapy team at RNI provides rehabilitation to Ward 1 patients. The role may require covering rehab on Ward 1 as needed.
You will manage a community clinical caseload, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge. The caseload covers conditions such as Neurological, Orthopaedic, Elderly Rehabilitation, and Falls. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
You will independently provide comprehensive specialist services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and discharge for complex cases. Attendance at MDT meetings, supervision of junior staff, and deputising for the team lead are expected. Regular supervision and peer review are in place.
A full current driving license is essential for travel between work locations and patient residences.
