David Lewis is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Learning Disabilities Team, delivering services across education settings for young people aged 12-25 and adult residential services. The role offers a 37.5-hour week (full-time) with Band 6 equivalent responsibilities and a salary dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.

You will manage varied caseloads, assess and plan specialist interventions, support transitions from education into adult services, and work closely

Qualificações

• HCPC-registered as a Physiotherapist.
• Experience in learning disabilities, community physiotherapy, neurorehabilitation, paediatrics or adult rehabilitation is desirable but not essential.
• An effective communicator who can build strong relationships with individuals, families and professionals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our Learning Disabilities Team, delivering physiotherapy services across education settings for young people aged 12-25 years and adult residential services.

The Role

As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will:

There are no weekends, bank holiday or on call requirements for this role

The department provide therapy Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Working hours and pattern negotiable)

About You

You will be:

• HCPC-registered as a Physiotherapist.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for people with learning disabilities.
• An effective communicator who can build strong relationships with individuals, families and professionals.
• Confident working independently while contributing to a supportive multidisciplinary team.
• Committed to innovative, person-centred practice.
• Experience in learning disabilities, community physiotherapy, neurorehabilitation, paediatrics or adult rehabilitation is desirable but not essential.
