Job summary

Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist MSK (Band 6) for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely, with potential duty at Brookfield Hospital, Cambridge. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, offering advanced MSK assessment and treatment and maintaining patient records as an autonomous practitioner.

• Provide specialist assessment and treatment as part of the multidisciplinary team and manage caseload.

Specialist Physiotherapist MSK Band 6

We have a full time fixed term contract band 6 vacancy for 12 months at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely, however there may also be requirement to work at Brookfield Hospital in Cambridge.

We are looking for a clinician who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, likes working in a team and wants to provide the best they can to their patients. You will receive regular mentorship and clinical supervision to ensure that you maximise your personal potential within our team.

The applicant should have substantial post graduate experience in musculoskeletal outpatients.

To assist in the management of the day-to-day clinical and administrative services of the team to ensure that a proficient and effective service is provided to all patients.

To undertake advanced assessment and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal problems that may have complex and or chronic presentation and to determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment indicated, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

To undertake clinical duties in a number of ways which may include face to face consultations, virtual consultations and Group settings.

Specialist assessment and treatment of patients as part of the multidisciplinary team, working towards maintaining a high standard of service in designated areas, independently responsible for own caseload and area of responsibility. Responsible for managing, prioritising and delegating this clinical caseload.
