Are you a motivated, innovative, clinically driven Pharmacy Technician who wants to make a difference?

If your answer is yes to any of the above, then we have an exciting opportunity within our Pharmacy departments at both The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH) and The Princess Royal Hospital (PRH). We are forming a new team of specialist clinical Pharmacy Technicians to work within our Emergency Departments.

These are brand new roles where we aim to develop a clinical service in the Emergency Departments through a strong clinical pharmacy team at a pivotal point in the patient’s journey. We are also recruiting dedicated Pharmacists for this team.

The successful applicant must be committed to delivering an excellent clinical pharmacy service built around high standards for our patients.

The applicant for the specialist role must be suitably qualified, as appropriate to the post.

The Post Holder Will
  • Be part of a team delivering high-level clinical Pharmacy input to the Emergency Department.
  • Ensure a consistently high clinical Pharmacy service for patients.
  • Act as a role model and develop core competencies of Pharmacy Technicians in the emergency setting by organizing training and assessing their competency.
