Specialist Pharmacy Technician Dispensary - Band 4
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed Pharmacy Technician to join the Dispensary Team at Croydon University Hospital.
This role is suitable for newly qualified Pharmacy Technicians or Trainee Pharmacy Technicians with experience in community or hospital pharmacy who wish to join our friendly and dedicated Pharmacy team in our technologically equipped department.
The position offers opportunities to develop skills within dispensary and gain experience in supervising workflow on a daily basis.
Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well-organized, capable of working independently and as part of a team, adaptable to changing demands, and committed to providing a high-quality, patient-focused service.

The post holder, as a qualified registered Pharmacy Technician, will perform a range of routine and non-routine activities, with opportunities for further skill development.
They are accountable for adhering to the General Pharmaceutical Council Code of Ethics/Standards and practicing safely and effectively at all times.
Under supervision, they will help ensure the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused pharmaceutical service to in-patients, discharge patients, A&E patients, and private patients.
The post involves active participation in Continuing Professional Development and working towards developing skills as a Pharmacy Technician Higher Level.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be required to check for any previous convictions.
Salary ranges from £32,199 to £34,876 per annum, inclusive of HCAS (outer rate).
