Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Pharmacist to support the perioperative clinical pharmacy service within the surgical directorates. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred pharmaceutical care from pre-assessment to discharge.
The role requires a Masters in Pharmacy, GPhC registration, and postgraduate clinical pharmacy training. NHS environment experience is preferred, with sponsorship not guaranteed. Based at Treliske, Truro.
This post supports the Lead Pharmacist for Surgery in the provision of a clinical pharmacy service in the perioperative setting. The post holder provides advice to the surgical directorates and works on behalf of pharmacy to support perioperative management. The pharmacist works alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team, including consultants, junior doctors, advanced surgical practitioners and a range of specialist nurses, specialist pharmacists, junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide a robust clinical service.
