About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in delivering high-quality aseptic services and providing clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients at St Johns Hospital, Edinburgh. As a Specialist Cancer Care Pharmacist, you will support patients undergoing treatment in West Lothian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Deputy Accountable Pharmacist for the Aseptic Unit, focusing on systemic anti-cancer treatment and clinical trials.
  • Participate in a Band 7 program with training across cancer services.
  • Collaborate with the haematology and oncology pharmacy team to innovate and develop cancer services.
  • Engage with new treatments and clinical trials to shape cancer care.
  • Opportunities for service improvement, prescribing training, and professional development.
