A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for you to become part of the Perinatal Mental Health Team in the North East Lincolnshire locality. We are looking for a dynamic, eager, and passionate individual to join our specialist service, offering assessment and a wide range of interventions to support mothers experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues.
Your day-to-day activities will include providing specialist assessments and early identification of mental health issues using NICE guidelines, with early referrals to mental health services when required. You will coordinate our duty system on a rolling rota and implement early interventions using a biopsychosocial approach, developing individualized care plans for mental health management during the antenatal, labor, and postnatal periods, including mental health birth plans.
There will be opportunities to contribute to the development and delivery of training to professionals involved in perinatal care, while being supported in your own development and training.
The postholder is expected to be creative and innovative in developing a bespoke service for families in North East Lincolnshire, with support from the Regional Hub.

Provide supervision, address practice issues, support staff development, and contribute to recruitment and retention efforts. Be a registered mentor on the live register.
