Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for a 12-month post within the Community Paediatric Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Team at Oxford Children’s Hospital. You will assess and treat children, including Developmental Language Disorder and autism, with ADOS involvement and post-diagnostic family support.

The role requires HCPC registration and experience working with children with developmental language difficulties, with opportunities

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience with Developmental Language Disorder.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy with families.

Responsibilities

• Assess children's communication and interaction skills to inform diagnosis and intervention.
• Develop and deliver time-limited, specialist intervention programmes.
• Provide post-diagnostic support to families, including information sessions on autism.
