Salary: £50,000 per annum

Remit

Compass Associates is working with a specialist provider of residential, supported living, and therapeutic support services, to recruit a Specialist Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

The role involves working across two residential services in South Yorkshire supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and additional learning needs. Responsibilities include conducting functional behavioural assessments, formulating and implementing interventions, delivering training to staff, and contributing to service development, research, and transition planning.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Therapy Assistants, Behaviour Analysts/PBS Practitioners, and Advanced Practitioners.

Location

The services are accessible from Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Mexborough, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Goole, Barnsley, Worksop, and nearby areas.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Masters’ Degree in PBS or ABA
  • Extensive experience with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviors
  • Experience working within an MDT
  • Experience delivering staff training
  • UK driving license and access to own vehicle
