An exciting opportunity to join the Bury Integrated Pain Service as a Band 7 Pain Specialist. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized pain management interventions and support patients with complex pain conditions. Flexibility in working hours is required, as the service aims for a 7-day model. The role offers career development opportunities and a competitive benefits package.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Bury Integrated Pain Service, a multi-disciplinary pain service. You will work alongside and be supported by advanced physiotherapy practitioners. You will also receive additional training and support from the multi-disciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, pain consultants, Mental Health Advanced Practitioners, and liaison psychiatrists. The role involves managing patients on an individual basis and delivering multi-disciplinary pain management programmes at locations across Bury.
The successful applicant will be an experienced band 6 or an existing band 7 looking to progress their career and specialize in this area. They will have extensive experience and evidence of the skills and training required for a band 7 pain post. They must demonstrate excellent bio-psychosocial assessment skills and outstanding communication skills necessary to successfully deliver pain management interventions.
The therapy service is working towards a 7-day model, and as such, flexibility in working patterns, including weekends, bank holidays, and extra hours if necessary, is required.
