Job summary

Treloar’s, a charity providing education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist. You will assess, treat and manage students with complex neurological and respiratory needs in a school setting, joining a large therapy team in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers term-time, full-time hours with salary scales for Highly Specialist and Specialist grades, plus ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Broad range of post-registration experience.
• Collaborative working in a multidisciplinary team; flexible and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and manage students with complex, acute and chronic presentations.
• Work with paediatric, adolescent and young adult disability including neurology and respiratory care.
• Collaborate as part of a trans-disciplinary team in school/community settings.
