A regional healthcare provider in Redhill is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dietitian. You will work closely with a specialist team and support both inpatients and outpatients in managing pediatric diabetes. This role offers the opportunity to engage in CPD activities and contribute to a highly motivated team. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications and experience in pediatric dietetics.
Are you an experienced paediatric dietitian looking for a new challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to join our team as a Paediatric Dietitian at SASH. The post is part time (18.75 hours) and permanent. You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced, and friendly team of adult and paediatric dietitians and dietetic assistants.
You will work as the core paediatric diabetes dietitian with a specialist dietetic team of 0.5 senior paediatric diabetes dietitian and 0.4 paediatric diabetes assistant. You will also work closely with the Paediatric and Transition Diabetes MDT at SASH, which includes specialist paediatricians, nurses, administration staff, and a psychologist, as well as access to youth workers and play therapists.
You will need to support the wider paediatric dietetic team, and this role will occasionally require general paediatric dietetic work, such as covering the cystic fibrosis caseload.
This post involves working with inpatients and outpatients, as SASH holds the local service for paediatric diabetes. There may be travel to Crawley and Horsham Hospitals, as well as school and home visits.
We have an established CPD and Journal Club programme in Dietetics, and access to local supervision and national networks. You will be encouraged and supported to continue your CPD, including in specialist areas.
