An NHS healthcare provider in Aylesbury is seeking a motivated Dietitian to join their paediatric team for maternity cover. This Band 6 role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance clinical skills, work closely with a supportive team, and provide high-quality dietetic services in various settings within a community context. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in paediatric care and communication skills, and will engage in CPD opportunities as part of a collaborative team.
We are looking for a motivated Dietitian at Band 6, with experience of paediatrics to provide maternity cover 3 days per week for 10-12 months in the paediatric team within Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust which comprises of 5 other Paediatric Dietitians and strong administrative support. We are a very supportive team, haveregular team meetings and CPD sessions/opportunities and have good links with surrounding Trusts and paediatric teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate paediatric skills, work with MDT colleagues in a variety of settings and develop clinical and leadership skills. The post holder will cover paediatric out-patient clinics, our paediatric in-patient ward and our neonatal unit, with the opportunity to further develop clinical and leadership skills
We are an integrated acute and community Dietetics Service, covering Buckinghamshire. Our teams are friendly, supportive and place staff well being and professional development as a high priority. We have B and C placement students with opportunities for our staff to lead or support students on placement, as well as great CPD and training opportunities for all our staff
To be an autonomous practitioner and act as a source of clinical expertise in the areas of paediatric and neonatal care.
To provide specialised assessment, treatment and support of paediatric inpatients and outpatients, and provide cover for other specialist dietitians on an occasional basis
