Job Description

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the team at Gavin Caves Orthodontics.

Gavin Caves Orthodontics, Haddington, EH41 3DUis a specialist orthodontic practice based in the historic market town centre of Haddington. A mixed practice with both NHS and private patients, the practice offers a valued service to the local community serving patients from across East Lothian and both sides of the Borders.

We are now looking to add an additional specialist to the team due to patient demand.

We can offer

• A mixed role, working weekly with both NHS and private patients. If you have days available please do get in touch to discuss
• We can offer from 1 day per week up to 4 days per week
• Fantastic opportunity for a GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist looking to work within an established and reputable specialist mixed practice, with the full support of a tenured and reliable practice support team
• Wehave a fantastically skilled specialist team including Gavin Caves plus 3 other highly reputable specialists, 2 of which are Consultants - mentoring can be available
• Our experienced Practice Manager has been with us for over ten years. We have a modern, state of the art practice with 3 surgeries, all with air conditioning and natural light
• Digital radiography and digital iTero 3 and 3shape scanners
• The practice receives fantastic patient feedback which can be seen on our 5* Google and Facebook reviews. We also run regular patient surveys and are proud to report 100% of our patients would recommend us to their friends and family
• Patients travel far and wide to visit the practice, with some travelling from England due to our unique positioning which is close to Edinburgh (just 30 mins) but equally convenient for the border
• The practice is based in the centre of Haddington close to the Knox Academy and Aubigny Leisure Centre with free parking
• Based in East Lothian where you will find fantastic golf courses and beaches - North Berwick and Gullane beaches are just a 15 minute drive away and you’re still only 30 minutes away from Edinburgh and all it has to offer.

Essential criteria: Applicants must have right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available) and are required to be a GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist interested in a NHS list.
