Job summary

PortmanDentex in Belfast, at Finaghy Orthodontics, is seeking a GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist to join a modern practice with 7 surgeries.

Role offers a mixed NHS/private patient load, 1–4 days per week, and a supportive team with advanced digital workflows including an in-house lab and iTero scanner.

Qualifications

• + Must be a GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist.
• + Experience in delivering orthodontic care to NHS and private patients.
• + Willingness to work in a busy, well-run practice.

We have a fantastic opportunityfor a SpecialistOrthodontist to join us at Finaghy Orthodontics, Belfast.

Finaghy Orthodonticsis a modern, fully equipped 7 surgery practice offering a specialist orthodontic service to a wide catchment area. Past winners of the Best Referral Practice, Ireland.Focused on delivering a first class experience for our patients we are proud to report 99% of patients would recommend us to their friends or family.

Having already added to the team this past year, we are now seeking an additional orthodontist to join us due to patient demand!

We can offer:

• A mixed role with both private and NHS patients
• From 1, up to 4 days per week are available. If you’re potentially interested we would welcome a conversation to discuss
• With a fantastic reputation for orthodontics the practice has waiting lists of patients
• You would be part of a highly skilled team in a reputable practice will well run, busy diaries.
• State of the art equipment such as iTero scanner to enable digital workflows.
• A6 chair Polyclinic, ideal for close collaboration with your Orthodontic Therapist should you choose to work with an OT for full efficiencies and support.
• All surgeries are spacious with windows and natural light and we have an inhouse laboratory which enables a same day service
• Our existing team consists of;5 Specialists Orthodontists,one of which is an NHS Consultant. Plus 3 skilled DWSIs and 2 dedicated Orthodontic Therapists
• Radiography qualified Dental Nurses who run scan clinics and onsite Treatment Coordinator resource.
• We have a fantastic Practice Manager who is dedicated to the Finaghy practice, specialising in Orthodontics only and from a clinical background herself with 20 years in the industry.
• Based in Finaghy with good access to stations, buses and free onsite parking.
• Finaghy is also easy to access for those interested in being close to airports, just 35 minutes flight from Belfast to Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh links (Edinburgh in 20 minutes), plus Heathrow and Gatwick a 40 minute flight
