Are you an experienced Band 6 or an entry-level Band 7 Occupational Therapist looking to gain rewarding career experience?

We are currently recruiting an outstanding Occupational Therapist at Cygnet Aspen Clinic.

Cygnet Aspen Clinic is a specialist service for women with personality disorder and complex needs. We provide assessment, stabilization, treatment, and rehabilitation for up to 16 women.

Our service users may have complex trauma histories or experience regular placement breakdowns. At Cygnet Aspen Clinic, we adopt a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach focusing on recovery and co-production with service users.

This role involves autonomously providing highly specialist assessments, analyses, and treatments of occupational dysfunction, enabling individuals to engage in activities vital for their well-being. It also includes supervising, mentoring, and coaching colleagues, and being professionally accountable for service delivery.

The successful candidate will receive supervision from a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and support from a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, along with access to a broad network of Occupational Therapists.

Position: (Band 6/7) Occupational Therapist

Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover (9-12 months), starting December 2024.

Location: Cygnet Aspen Clinic, Manvers Road, Mexborough, Doncaster, S64 9EX.

Responsibilities: Delivery of the Occupational Therapy pathway at Cygnet Aspen Clinic.

Reporting to: Service Manager and Regional Lead Occupational Therapist.
