An established industry player is seeking an experienced Oncology Dietitian to join their diverse Dietetic Department. This role focuses on providing high-quality nutritional care to oncology and haematology patients, emphasizing a person-centred approach. The clinical caseload will focus on general oncology and haematology patients, providing cover to colleagues within the wider Dietetic oncology team. Responsibilities include seeing patients on inpatient wards, in the Arden Cancer Centre, and outpatient clinics. The team cares for patients who are palliative, end-of-life, and curative, emphasizing a person-centred approach. The role requires practitioners to be self-aware, have resilience strategies, and support the team through difficult situations.
We seek an experienced dietitian committed to learning and progressing within the oncology field. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology, be prepared to apply and expand their knowledge, and be interested in a role supporting senior dietitians. Knowledge of the ACCEND national framework for cancer education and familiarity with Macmillan Cancer support are advantageous.
