Velindre University NHS Trust is seeking a proactive dietitian to deliver evidence-based nutritional assessment, intervention and evaluation for patients with complex cancer-related needs, drawing on collaborative multidisciplinary care.

You will manage a diverse oncology and palliative care caseload, provide oral, enteral and parenteral nutrition support within your scope of practice, and work across acute, community and primary care settings.

You will:

• Deliver evidence-based nutritional assessment, intervention and evaluation for patients with complex needs


• Manage a diverse oncology and palliative care caseload


• Provide oral, enteral and parenteral nutrition support, with appropriate training and within scope of practice


• Support patients experiencing treatment-related nutritional complications


• Contribute to service improvement, audit, quality improvement and research activities


• Supervise and support students, junior staff and support workers


• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across acute, community and primary care settings

As part of our specialist Dietetics Team, you will receive excellent professional support and opportunities to develop your oncology expertise while making a meaningful difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
