This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with specialist expertise in cognition and learning to influence practice beyond a single school, working directly with educational settings, children and young people, families and professionals to improve outcomes and build capacity across Calderdale.

As a Specialist Officer, you will provide specialist support and expertise to schools and educational settings, helping them develop effective provision for children and young people with cognition and learning needs.
We are looking for an experienced and reflective practitioner who is passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
