Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity to utilise and develop your clinical skills & leadership abilities? If so, our Specialist Occupational Therapy position may be perfect for you.
The successful candidate will work within the medical team alongside other occupational therapists, physiotherapists and therapy support workers. The team cover care of the elderly, gastroenterology, respiratory and general medical wards. These wards are fast paced with a high turnover of patients, and would therefore require a dynamic and holistic individual.
All of our specialist Occupational Therapists receive supervision and mentorship from a member of our highly specialist team who will offer direction in terms of clinical and leadership development.

As a member of the Therapy Services Team your contribution to the profession of Occupational Therapy will be integral in enabling patients to receive holistic assessment to enable them to recover and be discharged from the hospital environment.
We believe in developing clinical and leadership skills at all levels and support all our specialist Occupational Therapists in having 17% of their time dedicated to supporting professional activity (SPA). Your SPA time will include and is not limited to: clinical supervision, opportunity to attend internal and external training relevant to your role and career aspirations and participation in service development opportunities.
