Are you an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist? Imagine every day making a significant impact on the lives of children and young adults with neurodiverse needs, many of whom have experienced trauma. This is your chance to use your skills to create meaningful change and truly make a difference.

Join us in this newly created role at The Grange where your expertise will shine! As a pivotal member of our team, you'll have the autonomy to shape the future of our occupational therapy services. You'll collaborate with our passionate and innovative integrated therapy team to deliver the highest standard of care and support to our pupils, making a real impact every day.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to identify and address the strengths and challenges your pupils face in their daily lives. Beyond conducting assessments, you'll be deeply involved in creating personalised therapy programs tailored to each pupil's unique needs. This is your chance to be part of something transformative, where your expertise and dedication will empower our pupils to thrive and reach their full potential.

This is your opportunity to lead, inspire, and transform lives.

A day in the life of a Specialist Occupational Therapist will involve:

  • Taking a Neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach to clinical work, working within a small caseload of pupils who have neurodiverse needs.

  • Working alongside the integrated therapy team, consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Creative Art Therapists.
  • Designing and delivering specific training and mentoring for your colleagues with the support of the Clinical Lead to further develop the Occupational Therapy offering within our specialist college.

To be a successful Specialist Occupational Therapist you'll need:

  • Great experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • The experience and ability to complete or contribute to capacity assessments.
  • Good IT skills - We'll train you on how to use our systems, but it would help if you had a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

In return for your time, you'll get:

  • Pension scheme- Our pension scheme is based on you paying in 5%, and us adding 3%.

  • Discounts - You'll have access to brilliant discounts through the Blue Light Card and our own employee benefits platform.
