A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will provide high-standard therapy interventions to patients with complex health needs, supervise junior staff, and contribute to the development of OT services. Job summary
The Princess Royal Hospital Occupational Therapy Service is looking for someone with a passion for Occupational Therapy within medicine and frailty . This will be a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. You will need excellent communication skills and enthusiasm with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of the wider MDT.
You will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment and evaluation of patients that are admitted to one of our wards, including patients with varying presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
We would particularly welcome applications from Occupational Therapists with previous experience in a Neuro specialist setting as we have patients across all our wards with Neurological conditions who would benefit from neuro specialist Occupational Therapy intervention.
A flexible and adaptable approach will be necessary to ensure delivery of an excellent OT service across all pathways. We would also consider an experienced Band 5 wanting to develop to be a Band 6 or an internal secondment
