Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Hand Therapy service at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. You will provide high quality OT services to a designated hand therapy caseload, including post-op and trauma rehabilitation, and will contribute to education and clinical supervision.

The post requires HCPC registration, a Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy, and a full driving licence. Flexible working may be considered.

A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, suitably experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy team at Raigmore Hospital Hand Therapy service.

The post will involve providing a high quality Occupational Therapy services to a designated caseload of patients requiring Hand Therapy.

The post holder will receive comprehensive training in this post to build the skills and knowledge required to work in this specialty area of Occupational Therapy.

You will use a range of interventions to help maximise individual’s function and independence for a range of patients including post-op and trauma.

You will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills in this post.

Flexible working arrangements may be considered for this role.

The post holder will take an active role in Practice Placement Education.

Regular clinical supervision is provided and opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.

A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required as is current HCPC registration.

A full current driving licence is required for this role.
