Cygnet Health Care's Taunton site seeks a senior or specialist occupational therapist to assess and treat patients with complex needs on a personal caseload within a 51-bed mental health unit. The role involves group and individual sessions from admission to discharge, in a multidisciplinary setting, with supervision of other therapists and leadership responsibilities at meetings.

The post is a 40-hour, on-site position requiring HCPC registration and a minimum of three years' OT experience,

Qualificações

• HCPC registration as an occupational therapist.
• At least 3 years working as an occupational therapist.
• Understanding of mental health conditions, dual diagnosis, sensory processing difficulties and neurocognitive conditions.
• Hands-on OT interventions with strong communication and time management.
• Ability to supervise others and give feedback.

It is a 40-hour post spanning acute adult mental health, learning disability and neurocognitive services, with supervision of other therapists and cover for the head of department at management meetings.
