Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join established team of therapists who provide a service to medical wards based at the hospitals within trust in Midlands.

You will be part of the wider multidisciplinary team working on the acute medical wards assessing and treating patients with a variety of clinical conditions, including frailty, endocrinology, gastroenterology, oncology and general medical conditions.

You will assess and treat patients referred to the service, with an aim to facilitate discharge from the acute setting as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will ensure excellent communication with patients, their relatives and carers.

You will be supported to develop your clinical and leadership skills from our Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Clinical Team Leader.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration with OT qualifications.

  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
