We have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 role in Nutritional Support. We will also consider Band 5 dietitians who have at least 6 months postgraduate experience; training will be given for competencies to be completed for dietitians to reach this Band 6 role.
You will be working within established multidisciplinary teams providing expert nutritional advice to patients while supporting and educating the wider team to provide patient-centred care. There will be support in all areas from Advanced Specialist Dietitians to facilitate your learning.
Main duties of the job
- To work as an autonomous Specialist Dietitian and provide a comprehensive and effective dietetic service.
- To work very closely with the multi-disciplinary teams.
- To provide assessment, management and education for acute patients requiring specialist dietetic and nutrition intervention.
- To provide training and advice to health care professionals on the dietary management of their patients.
- To audit and evaluate the outcome of the service provided.

Person specificationQualificationsEssential criteria- BSc (Hons) or Postgraduate Equivalent in Dietetics
- HCPC registration
ExperienceEssential criteria- Minimum 6 months experience post-graduation.
