A regional healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Diabetes and Endocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist in Shrewsbury. The role involves providing expert clinical care, supporting staff in diabetes management, and leading training initiatives. The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with leadership experience, excited to join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diabetes and Endocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a full-time Band 7 role, Monday-Friday, 7.5 hour shifts. This post will require cross site working.
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a specialist nursing service for patients with Diabetes and Endocrine disorders, they will support the team reviewing patients who are currently inpatients or who are being seen on an outpatient basis. They will offer advice and specialist support to the patients, their families, and colleagues, as necessary. The post holder may need to support the lead nurse in the development of the service.
There may be a requirement to deputise for the Nursing Lead CNS in his/her absence.
