Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to deliver high‑quality neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people. You will contribute to NHS-funded referrals and private pathways, producing diagnostic formulations and feedback for families.

You will join a multidisciplinary team with strong clinical leadership, training, and digital tooling, supporting a flexible hybrid working pattern across the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with one of the UK regulatory bodies (HCPC/NMC/GMC or Social Work England).
• Minimum 1 year of professional registration and diagnostic assessment experience in neurodevelopmental presentations.
• Strong written language skills for high‑quality clinical reports.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Trained in diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2 and ADI‑R.
• Ability to manage time and caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with smart tools.
• Work to meet service KPIs.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base for in‑person assessments (hybrid only).
