Job Opportunity: Specialist MSK Physiotherapist, Band 6

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist, Band 6, to support the MSK Outpatient Service within Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

Working within one or more of our Health Centres, you will support a busy MSK outpatient service which receives a wide range of referrals including patient self-referral, GP, and Secondary care.

As part of the established MSK team, you will provide expert clinical intervention for these patients while supporting colleagues within the Physiotherapy team.

You will require postgraduate experience, including specialist experience in Musculoskeletal disorders. HCPC registration is essential for this post. You should also have knowledge and experience of managing complex and chronic patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality Physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction across various clinic settings.
  2. Offer advice and education to other Physiotherapists and students in managing Physiotherapy conditions.
  3. Participate in the assessment and treatment of patients with complex and/or chronic presentations.
  4. Determine clinical diagnosis and Physiotherapy treatment plans, maintaining accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
